Yes, I've always been a fan of this show since day 1, but as I've said elsewhere so many times, Eva/Natalia hooked me in so much deeper. I terribly miss her on the screen though & after that finale (dreadful & repetitive, imo) I am praying next season brings Natalia back into the spotlight where she belongs.
I'm fully enjoying where they've taken her character so far though. She didn't have much this past season, but the little bits they did show were wonderful. She's growing so much, & she's such a compassionate character. I love what she brings to the team, & how caring & supportive she is of them. We definitly need to see more of that - the show needs it, as does the team who has felt more than distant here lately!
Keeping my fingers crossed for a better season 8, & with lots more Natalia!!
I completely agree with every word of your post, mjszud. IMHO this season was a joke for Natalia/Eva, she did have a few great moments but it seemed like they were very few and far between. Hopefully season 8 will have much more Natalia. I think it would be great to see more interaction between Calleigh and Natalia, it seems like Eric and Ryan have a lot of chances to work together I think Calleigh and Natalia would be great partners as well the few times they have worked together have been great in my opinion I personally would like to see more of that.

Well, what did everyone think of the first couple of episodes of the season? Didn't care for the going back in time on the first episode, I hope they give Eva more to do this season.
The premiere was great. I liked certain parts of the past, other parts I thought weren't necessary though (E/C ). My biggest complaint, & alot of others as well, was that Natalia was so rarely seen & didn't even speak a word -- that's ridiculous.
Interesting that she was in the flashback though & had met up with Horatio 12 years ago. Now for my "WTF" moment -- how on earth did Horatio see her & know she was working with the FBI but then 7 years later when she suddenly showed up at the lab & it was known there was a mole working for the feds, it didn't click to Horatio that SHE was the mole?! Either TPTB didn't do their homework & they're convienantly forgetting that part, or perhaps this will lead into a story for Natalia & we'll get some missing info about that whole mole ordeal. I'm hoping for the latter.
Last episode. Not my favorite. I just didn't care for the case, & the hostage situation was too over the top & unbelievable to me. Again, there just was not enough Natalia!!! Ryan was funny, loved his ending comment about being short, lol. On the fence about new kid Jesse - I like him but I'm not too thrilled that his intro was this overwhelming, seemed a little too forced, some subtly would have been good. Horatio - he's the man, I adore him. Calleigh - unfortunatly, I can't stand her anymore (ever since S6), character destruction at it's worst - too overplayed, too focused, & she behaves like she's Queen 'B'. Not a fan of that!
Next episode looks a little better. Hoping for more Natalia in this one!

Natalia get's caught in a house explosion this coming up episode. She lives, of course, but in episode 13 she's apparently having hearing loss and visits a hearing specialist who tells her that it could be from a pre-existing condition, opposed to temporary loss from the explosion.
Should be awesome! Can't wait to see the rest of the season!
