As a fan of Eva, Natalia, and CSI:Miami -- I'm hoping to get this board alive & kicking with discussion of the new season. Anyone up for it?
I'll start this topic for general season 9 hype, and start another for spoilers only -- once the season kicks off, if there's enough wanting to discuss the episodes we can open episode threads/topics for discussion.
Reminders: Season 9 will air on Sunday nights this fall.
The premiere is set to air Sunday, October 3.
Is everyone excited for the new season to begin? What are you hoping to see for the show, and Natalia?

I am DEFINETLY EXCITED for the new season!!!!!!! Something I want for the show is more screen time for Eva!!!!!!! I was really upset that there was like 2 or 3 episodes that Eva/Natalia wasn't in at all in season 8): And for Natalia I think we should have a little bit of romance going on (maybe with a certain Ryan Wolfe) and also there's one thing I've noticed about Natalia and that is that she always refuses to seek help from a doctor. Is there a reason for that? (oh, wow, I just had deja vu lol) When she dislocated her shoulder; wouldn't go to the doctor. When the DNA lab exploded and she got all of the samples all over her; she wouldn't get checked out right away. When the meth lab exploded; she rushed the paramedics off of her and still wouldn't go to the doctor until Ryan basically yelled at her. And Natalia always seems to have an excuse or reason for not wanting to go. Hmmmm, maybe I just over think things?

I can't find out when it comes to the Netherlands, but if you've already seen season 8 I'm sure you'll get it at about the same time as the U.S. hopefully

Ooooo I was thinking and what if Ryan got a girlfriend... wait wait wait hold on before you throw rotten tomatoes at me, let me finish... and then Natalia would get all jelous about about it, and she would start dropping hints and then Ryan would get confused about his feelings briefly until he realizes that he is deeply and madly in love with Natalia too And then that can run into my earlier idea of the akward, cute, romantic kiss lol
My imagination is running freely right now... if you can't tell lol... and it's on Natalia/Ryan mode

whaha Livedances, everytime I read your posts. You make me smile you know. You're such a huge fan of Natalia/Ryan/CSI Miami as I am. And that is great to know. And the story you just maked, is AWESOME.
It would be sooo AMAZING if this was Natalia's season I was glad when she had a lot to do with the begining to mid season 5, and I'm pretty sure season 5 episode 12 "Internal Affairs" is my favorite episode Eva acted the end of that episode sooo well It was powerful, and I almost started crying too even though I was happy that Nick was dead... Which I know it's mean to be happy that someone's dead but a.) he's a fictional character, b.) in season 5 episode 4 "If Looks Could Kill" he basically called Natalia a whore and c.) he abused her for who knows how long

I really didn't like Nick, I'm happy that he's gone. ( even if those are hard words ) he was not nice to Natalia. He hurted her! It's pathetic when a man//husband hurts a woman//own wife. PATHETIC I'm saying you, PA.THE.TIC.
I think though it is possible for a woman to hurt a man. If a woman slaps a man it's just laughed at or their is no result. People subconsciously note women as the weaker sex. Even today, I was in the car with my female cousin and a car in front of us cut off another car in front of us and she subconsciously says "oh, he cut her off." My cousin would have no way of knowing the sex of the drivers in each car. Why are females simply assumed as the weaker sex mainly on size alone. Studies say that females mature years ahead of males, and females on average live longer than males and almost always outlive them in married couples. Size alone should not determine the authoritative figure in a relationship or at any time. I'm female, and I don't want to be labled as weak because I'm smaller. In a swimming race I got stuck racing against the boys who were the same age as me and I swam faster than all of them but one. With the right words anyone's mind can become psycologically degraded easily causing vunerability and can and most likely will lead to overpowerment. But don't get me wrong I think it is absolutely horrible what Nick did to Natalia
