Last week I read an article about a gate built in 2007. A few months ago, I finished my studies in Law ( in europe), and I can say that in Europe when two interests are opposed we weigh two things one against the other. The judge look the most important interest at the sees of the law, the heaviest interest in the balance :The interest of moral and physical security for a single mum and her family, or the interest of a quiet landscape for the neightbors. When you have the answer, you'll have the solution. I think that the answer was evident but decided few months ago.
I feel that the moral and physical security is far more important, however I am split when it comes to the fact that a law is a law that was written for a reason, and if an exception is made for one person, it has to then be made for everyone else. But I deffinetly don't disapprove of Eva's decision to build the gate. I feel that it was unfair of them to allow her to build the gate and then later revoke her right to have it. The law is confusing lol(:
