I was wondering if her last name had any connection with her character due to how she entered the storyline and really it does because her name is "Boa". Ryan says "Boa, just like the snake," which should make us think of snakes (of course lol because I believe that was perfectly obvious) and snakes are thought of as decietfull and bare false information. So right away we should have recognized Natalia as the mole.

I never thought of that. But we know she is far, far, far from being a 'snake'. Lol! She is too innocent to be one.

Anyways, I didn't know much about her at first just because she was barely on screen at the time I watched the show. So she was more of some random lab tech to me. Then I started to like her character because of her warmth and that she comes across very genuine. wink

I liked her because of the background we knew of her, and that was not allot. Nick was in her life and I wanted to know what was going on with her and that Nick.

And indeed because of her warmth and she is just so smart.

I enjoy watching her on screen and I was pretty up sad because she hadn't that much screen time. But when she got screen time, her scenes always were amazing.

And of course because Eva plays the role ;)

Also the shoulder dislocating scene stole me as a fan! I was like "ouch" and then "I am your fan now". I didn't know about her past then but it was an icing on the cake for me. I also thought she was like in her late 20s and then I went online and I realised her real age, I was shocked, probably like everyone else. Damn good genes she has! But then again I am not good at guessing people age, I always tend to think everyone is older then me.

Do we know how old is Natalia?

Indeed! I thought that she was in her late 20s too. But she wasn't!! And my parents were like; Really ? isn't that a wrong site with wrong information on it?

Uhm.. I don't think we know how old she is. Do we even know how old the others are?

Nope, but I used to see her as the 'baby' of the group, I don't know why.

I wonder where they came up with her name though.

But hmm, she was already working with the FBI Lab before Eric became a CSI (in S8 premiere).

Omg, I have missed sooo much not being able to get to a computer since saturday.

On Natalia's CODIS profile it didn't say how old she was and they've never said on the show.

I'm not really sure how Natalia became my favorite character, but that's where I first saw Eva. I was I think 10 years old when season 4 first aired so I was probably like any other little girl that is like "She's soo pretty, I want to look like her when I grow up" or something along those lines lol(:

I like the name Natalia Boa Vista too and I like Eva La Rue too. She just gets to have awsome names(:

I think Natalia shifted house. The address on her CODIS was different from last season when Walter was going through her bank records. I forgot what it was but I think a place with 'Coconut'. Lol!

Anyways, she is one of my very few fave characters. smile

It would be nice if we get to see her place. I think she still lives in the same place. I've checked the address on the bank records is actually the bank's address. Lol, I am crazy. Does she still lives in the house near the drug lord's back in S5? I am lil confused.

Yeah I'm pretty sure she still lives down the street from that drug lord which means her house is probably huge because of the house sizes around it and the comment that Ryan made. I just always assumed Natalia got a lot of money from Nick when he went to jail and from the divorce. And she used to drive a BMW back in season 4 (when Gloria broke her windows) and those cars are not cheap.

I wonder what's Nick's occupation is? I assume when she got together with him, she was still with the FBI. Maybe Nick was an ex-FBI gone bad or became corrupted that's why he turned to violence and took it out on Natalia?

If Natalia was a real person I would love having her help to build a model of DNA for my biology project lol. I hate projects and would rather just stick to books and taking notes, but I have to do this project and I would really like a 100% so I can secure my grade at 109%

I am just curious about Nick, what was their background. I really think he might be a corrupted cop or maybe a Marine. There is so much I want to know which I know I will not get. cry

Nick looks like a guy who could be in the Marine or something like that. But now he's dead, and I think we won't hear a lot of his past. Maybe some Natalia and Nick stuff, but not Nick in person.

I was watching the scene at the end of Internal Affairs. I realise it was Nick who actually kept a picture of them together. I used to think Nick doesn't really love Natalia but maybe he did, he even kept the ring.

It seems like Nick resented loosing Natalia. You could tell he wanted her back. He was trying to ward-off Eric by saying Natalia was a slut and only wanted things, he told Natalia that he'd changed, and Nick also somehow managed to get Natalia into his bed but I think it's because she was emotionally compromised.

What do you mean he kept the ring?

Abusive realationships can be very confusing. The abuser makes it that way. One thing that makes it so confusing is that the abusee will most of the time be in love with the abuser. Natalia said that she used to stick up for Nick and hide what he was doing, and she said that Nick had not always been abusive. He seemed very possesive of Natalia so we don't know that he didn't really love her. No, I'm not sticking up for Nick, just explaining how Natalia could easily be confused into thinking she loved Nick. They just want to believe that the abuser loves them.

Yeah, that was the confusing part where people have always wondered why she went back to Nick. Actually in an episode before that, Nick was clearly trying to get her back. He sweets talk her and you can see she somewhat was about to give in.

Anyway, I like that she is able to take charge more now.

Why is she still a CSI Level 1 though?

Yeah I think she is because she was only promoted to level 1 in season 8 which is rediculous because she does just as much as everyone else and only 1 year less than Ryan and he's a level 3. They both got "upgraded" at about the same time.

I'm not sure that is the wedding ring for sure but I guess it is pretty safe to say it is. I went back and watched that scene and it looked like she was playing with something in her hands and then when she goes to get the picture frame out of the box you can see a ring resting on her pointer/index finger on her right hand.

It was a grey jacket. I'll have to go look for a picture.
