Well, I thought an epic episode deserve its own thread! So I created this.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ AN ESCAPED PRISONER TAKES NATALIA HOSTAGE AND TELLS HER A SHOCKING SECRET ABOUT HIS CRIMES, ON "CSI: MIAMI," SUNDAY, MARCH 27
"About Face" - An escaped prisoner takes Natalia hostage and tells her a shocking secret about his crimes, on CSI: MIAMI, Sunday, March 27 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eva La Rue previewed a harrowing moment for her character, Natalia Boa Vista, on a CSI: Miami episodeshe just finished shooting. "I get kidnapped," says La Rue. "There's a serial killer that is out, and we're trying to keep him from killing again. He kidnaps me, but it doesn't end up being the actual killer. He's trying to profess his innocence, so after I beat the crap out of him, I go about trying to figure out if he's telling the truth."
I like to see how the team response to her being kidnap. TPTB tend to make them look way calm in such situations. Even Horatio looked calm in those pics.
Oh and there is another HUGE spoiler coming from Eva herself again....it tells you the plot and how she is being kidnap...if you don't want to spoil yourself don't read further...
Spoiler
Any CSI: Miami scoop to share? — Mike Yes. And it comes straight from Eva la Rue, who dished (in wonderfully elaborate detail) about an intense upcoming episode: “We just wrapped an episode where I got kidnapped by a serial killer. He duct tapes her and ties her to the back of a van. I ended up escaping and beating the crap out of the guy and he ends up not even being the serial killer. He kidnapped her to try and prove his innocence because he was set up. It’s a good twist. She does not like being tied up or held against her will by men. So I got to go a little berserk. That was a ton of fun to shoot.” And even more fun to spoil! http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/02/18/ca...tomy-spoilers/
I wonder how Eva liked having her mouth duct taped like that...Tape hurts when its ripped of the lips.....Poor Natalia!!! But she does beat the crap out of him!
I'm really curious to see how this will play out -- hopefully the details Eva gave weren't in order of what we'll see in the episode...I want some twists/surprises.
I'm so looking forward to seeing her tied up & going berserk though ...gonna be awesome!!
I agree that a lot has been spoiled for this episode already...I am curious to know how she gets kidnapped in the first place.....(hit over the head, caught off guard, run off road etc....) and from there, i wonder how much of the episode she spends in the back of the van....I wonder if there will be a frantic search,,or if this is maybe the 1st 15 minutes of the episode.....
What aspect of this episode are people looking forward to the most????
I especially look forward to how she is being taken away, what the guy is going to do to her, how she fights back and how this event affects her at the end.
I like to see her being stalked entering her home or something that shows us part of her personal life. i.e not during working hours.
I am bad for saying I am excited to see her being kidnap?
The eighteenth episode of CSI: Miami’s ninth season finds the team searching for the truth after a convicted killer kidnaps a CSI in an attempt to prove his own innocence. (Major spoilers after the jump!)
According to CSI Files sources, “About Face” finds the team on the trail of an escaped prisoner named Patrick Clarkson. He was convicted of murdering Haley Sherman four years ago. Haley was raped with a soda bottle, and her neck was broken. Her husband, Ted, found her body when he came home. Evidence on the soda bottle led the police to Patrick, whom Ted discovered peeking in the window the same day Haley was murdered. Patrick’s wife Lyla couldn’t believe her husband would do such a thing, but after the trial and the conviction, she had no choice but to accept what happened. She got remarried and moved on with her life, raising her young son Zane to believe her new husband was his father.
With Patrick back on the street, it’s not surprising when another murder is committed which seems strikingly similar to the Haley Sherman case. Cara Landry was raped with a foreign object, and her neck was broken. Horatio speaks to Dr Greg Calomar, who was walking home from dinner when he saw a man run out of Cara’s apartment building. The door was left ajar, and Greg could tell something was wrong. When he looked inside and saw Cara’s body, he called 911. Horatio asks for a description of the man he saw leaving the apartment, and Greg describes Patrick Clarkson perfectly—in fact, he says he recognized him from the news.
Greg sits down with a sketch artist, and the resulting sketch looks exactly like Patrick. The CSIs worry that Greg seeing Patrick’s picture on the news might have influenced him when it came time to remember the man he saw leaving the apartment. His mind could have filled in the blanks because he only caught a quick glimpse of the killer. Greg promises that’s not the case. He was able to give such a good description because he has hyperthymesia. He remembers every moment of his life with photographic detail. The man he saw was definitely Patrick Clarkson.
Things get dangerous for Natalia when Patrick kidnaps her. She isn’t seriously injured, but Patrick is a desperate man. He swears he’s innocent, and he wants Natalia to prove it. He didn’t kill Cara—he was at his son’s birthday party, watching from a distance. He says he didn’t kill Haley either. He was framed.
Please note that the above plot details have not been confirmed by CBS, Alliance Atlantis or Bruckheimer Films, and until such time you should treat this information as you would any other rumour. The above information comes from early script drafts and the details of the episodes are liable to change before the episodes are shown.
Apparently this guy Patrick is freed at the end because he appears in 9.22 (which I assume is the finale). I am not sure if he escaped again because I can't imagine someone who escaped prison, kidnap a CSI is able to walk free.... just because he didn not commit the one crime.
Some spoiler info....that I read. Since Eva said she hasn't seen, I guess once the writers finished their script is right when the spoilers will come out, even before Eva gets to read it.
Same here! I just don't get the sudden ending from 9.15. At first I thought it might be that she's the one from 9.18 that kidnaps Natalia... but then I was like "the person was supposed to be innocent at first."
I actually like the ending of 9.15, I always thought that scene would happen somewhere in the middle of the episode but I was wrong and glad to be wrong!
We would be getting a preview trailer the week after next! Can't wait for that! I think I am afraid to watch the sneak peek, I hope its just the beginning part and not the critical part (like they gave for 9.05, though I didn't watch but I still read it).
I wonder why the title is 'About Face' and not a title with Natalia's name in it. Some of the other casts had their names in the title, I wonder when will it be Natalia's turn. Something..."Boa Vista" would make an interesting title. Lol.
I am rather afraid how the fight scene would look like, cosidering the show seems to have the new trend of CSIs 'bullying' others. I hope in her case, she is just trying to defend herself.
Well considering she gets tied up in a van... I would assume self-defense... but then again Horatio is making a bad example of himself... especially in the last episode.
