Here's my long, detailed, and opinionated review (as usaual lol.)
The episode was quite amazing!
Wasn't exactly liking the whole "die-and-see-Marisol-who-then-turns-into-Natalia-who-looks-like-she-just-got-done-filming-The Grudge." Then Horatio goes to save Natalia, and she ends up saving him. I did like that because, for once, Horatio was not invincible and we can begin to see just how much stress this job as a CSI has been.
I didn't know exactly whether or not to laugh or to scream IDIOTS! at Natalia and Horatio for just running out of the hospital, which then led us to hear wheezing everytime Horatio was around. I was thinking "man, someone just push him over already so he'll pass out and be forced to go back to the hospital."
And now I get to myABSOLUTE FAVORITE MOMENT of the episode. It was the moment my smiles and audible "awwww's" could not be contained. The moment when Natalia was in the lockerroom and Ryan comes in and it's so blatantly obvious she's been crying. He asks her if she's ok (there was "aw" number one.) He called her "Nat" ("aw" number two) She's says she doesn't think so and you can tell Natalia is reaching out to Ryan in a metaphorical sense ("aw" number two.) He sits down next to her ("aw" number four,) and he tells her about get shot with the nailgun and what a "good friend" said to him. And Natalia says something along the lines of "I'm so profound" or something (I think I was to busy 'awww-ing' to retain what exactly she was saying.) So when I found out it was Natalia I was like "it was Natalia! AAAAWWWWWWWWW" ("Aw" number five right there.) Ahhhh! Even if those two aren't an item, they still kill me with their cuteness and chemistry
Man, writing that last paragraph made me feel and sound like a pre-pubescent child who has no English skills whatsoever. Anyways... Moving on...
Natalia interrogating and scaring the sh*t out of Randy EXCELLENT moment! Fist pumping (or whatever it is) may have occured out of excitement. And she cussed! However, Horatio's wheezing and the fact I was afraid he was going to kneel over and die any moment was a bit distracting.
They really botched trying to use North to get Toller. And Ryan seemed quite worried that the train was comming as he managed to mention it three or four times in the course of a minute. But hey, I still love him anyways
G2g mothers sending me to bed...
I'll be back tomorrow

Thanks for the detailed review, could always count on ya before I watch it!
Now after watching it, lol, sorry didn't care for the storyline but....
Great action from Natalia & Horatio!!My heart was beating fast for Natalia, yikes!!! Kept me at the edge of my seat!!! From being traumatised to being pissed off. Thumbs up!
Overall, the episode didn't gel well, the focus seem to be just not right, some things should have been left out to make way for better coverage of say the rescue scene, it was way too short.. Way too much of flashbacks of Marisol, please!!!! Didn't see the need for the kid to appear and then to randomly bond, should have been the team bonding.
LOL, "The Grudge" scene made me laugh...then I am thinking Natalia does well in horror! Haha, so I can't wait for another Natalia-Halloween episode!
Well, Natalia did well as I expected so I am not going to complain too much.
I think Eva really stole the show with this episode(: The anger, sadness, and emotions all around were superb!
I get what you mean about the "team bonding," but I did think the scene where the kid wanted he and his sister to live with Calleigh was sweet. I see they are testing Emily Proctor's new maternal skills lol(:
I'm terribly worried that this could very well be the last season): Everyone seems so drained, and let's face it, Horatio ain't gettin' any younger lol(:

I just felt something not right when the pratically used the kid as a bait to lure Randy out and in an open beach where he could have shot numerous innocent individuals, including the kid. The kid did not have to witness such a scene either, to me the kid doesn't even looked like he knew what was going on at all.
Anyways, I dislike how everyone is speculating about this being the last season. I know I grumble about not wanting to watch sometimes but it has nothing to do with wishing the show to be cancelled. I am insignificant to the ratings and whatever anyways. Lol!!!!
In fact the fans should push for more and stop blaming on the football delays, all the time If there are enough eyeballs for the show, there will be some effort to change some of the ways the show is being done/managed.
ETA: Oops I got carried away, sorry. I've done some screen caps, will try to upload them over the weekend.

This episode was amazing! I loved it from the beginning till the end. Eva did a great job on Natalia.
The intro was pretty long though. 10 minutes. XD
I really liked the way how Nat got rescued. But it went a bit fast & I did't catch the moment were H was able to free her out of the trunk. I felt sorry for Horatio through the whole episode, he's getting kinda old..
& seriously.. I had the Aaaaw moments too! The locker scene was ADORABLE! he called her NAT! NAT I'm telling you! NAT! I really loved the conversation between the two of them. I just missed the comforting hug/arm around her. BUT, I won't complain. I aaaawhed enough for a whole season.
The scene with Calleigh & Austinwas really touching. She almost made me cry :') that cute boy was so adorable & i felt sorry for Calleigh! She should have just taken those children. She's thinking of having a family anyways.
- One thing a friend on twitter recognized in this episode, was that Natalia was wearing the same t-shirt as she was wearing in the episode of the shooting range with Ryan. Hint Hint ;D hahaa. Sorry Wolvista fangirl moment.
Haha I kinda laughed when Ryan was like: There's a train REAL fast. & he said that over & over again. While the train wasn't really going THAT fast. :p
I loved the scene where Natalia almost kicked his ass! (Randy's) she was sich a badass in that scene. AWESOME! :D
The episode ended good. With Natalia at the shooting "range" & H not being good at all. I wonder how the next epi will be. All I know is that we're getting some explosions & fire. (looks like the episode where Nat & Ryan & H at that house & there was this huge explosion.) anyways. Eric gets hurt or something. & natalia and Ryan are running.. Probs after a bad-guy. Hahaa
I can't wait till the next episode! All these reviews are making me aaaaw & smile & feel excited. hahaa, you too changed your picture.. Hmmm, Maybe I should too, even though I love the picture I have now!
I like it either way. I do worry that a relationship would ruin their friendship, and then one of them would have to transfer... But I wouldn't mind if they at least tried a kiss
At least they don't have that tension where it looks like they're about to jump each other every minute of every episode. Shows like that drive me INSANE!!!!!!! And the only other two shows I really really watch now both have that problem! It's kinda cute, but incredibly frustrating!
Everyone's changing their pics. I just figured I'd had that pic up for too long.
I kinda wondered if they would have kept the same shirt around for three years lol(:
And even if they never get together, their friendship is so amazing because they always have each other's back and comfort each other. I wish Natalia was in the scene when Ryan is on the hood of the car. I don't mean as in "she's hurt in the scene" but as in "I want her to be their for Ryan right away." I think it would be cute if we saw a little jealousy out of Ryan when Natalia gets a date(; In a sense that he wants to be the guy that's there for her and not a new boyfriend that just waltzes in.

Oh goodness... I have a lot to say about this episode, and not enough time.
Ryan and the floating hat, and Walter making fun of him. I loved that. I love how those two pic on each other all the time.
Of course, the hot guy who helps Natalia and asks her out is a prostitute or "gigalo." The EC fans are going to have a field day with the fact that Natalia almost went on a date with a gigalo. I really should stop talking about the EC fans, but they are really pissing me off more than usual lately.
The house practically blows up with Calleigh and Eric in it and Horatio comes in to save the day... That story line sounds a bit familiar with season 8 episode 10. And damn, I think the writers are waiting for Calleigh to just spontaneously combust into flames one of these days with how many fires she's been in at crime scenes.
I wasn't sure whether to think if the scene with Natalia running after Joe was funny or awesome. I like how she ditched the heals really fast. It was also funny when Joe shouted "is this what I get for not calling you?!"
And lol to more picking on Ryan from Walter with the magical, floating test-tube.

Thanks for the quick review! Luv ya! Have to wait to watch the episode!
Sounds like a fun episode minus that repeated scene where two got trapped in fire and H to the rescue.
ETA: Saw the episode ......
Gotta say I love the 'Green' Theme!
This episode seemed to be more of a light hearted, less serious episode right after the first. Glad to see Natalia happy and all, though only for a while after her bad encounter with a bad guy. Awww, when will we see a real interest for this beautiful lady???
LOVEDDDDDD the chase scene with her taking off her heels and running on sand (damn tough!)!!! Glad to see her doing it instead if always Ryan/Eric.
Also loved Walter & her going through the notes, good for them doing some paper work!
Horatio looked too serious for me, same with the other two and Eric doesn't seem like he really knew how to joke as I don't find it funny somehow.
Of course Natalia and her car was cute & funny! Hehe!!!!

Hmmm, I don't remember that line. I think Natalia's car alarm was too loud lol(: That scene was hilarious and adorable when Natalia and Ryan first show up and Natalia's car goes nuts.
I did like that it seemed more light-hearted. The last season was very, very serious.
Yes! Seriously! Natalia should have someone! I, personally, am preferential to Ryan being that someone... However, she should at least have someone since she is after all, very pretty, rediculously smart (believe me, even high-school DNA work is no easy task,) and don't guys find female cops sexy or something like that?

Boa Vista: You did not just make it here before I did. Wolfe: Good morning, slowpoke. Boa Vista: I live 15 minutes from here, and there’s no way you made it here before me… unless you used the siren. (overlapping each other) Wolfe: No one told me I couldn’t. Boa Vista: You used the siren, didn’t you? Cheater.
That's what was said.

I like those funny but normal parts/scenes like with the car going crazy. I know it's a crime scene show, however I would like to see some more of these scenes.
it was! Wonder what the opening will be of 10.03. Probably Walter & Ryan in that house and the tornado. Then WOOSH. Ryan gone & Then WOOSH. CSI:Miami intro :P
I agree, it is good to see 'normal' scenes on the show.
Poor Nat standing there with some car trouble and no one helps but a gigalo...lol!!! Did you notice that dude was hesitant when he realised she was an officer? He was so blur, it was a cop car and she was carrying a gun, and he did not notice earlier?
I think it was a pretty good episode. It was a new plot, and I really felt like we were following leads and looking for evidence in this one.
I have to admit, Eric with the dog was pretty sweet. I have a very soft spot in my heart for animals.
Ryan got out of the hospital sooo quickly. I know if a tornado had thrown me around I'd be dead, in a coma, or have about fifty broken bones. But I guess he's just tough like that.
Natalia was not as MIA as I expected. I think she's finally taking control and getting tough with the perps.
Oh my goodness... The locker room scene... Jonathan Togo shirtless with his incredibly sexy, buff arms, and baring the mark of having survived a tornado... Boy is it getting hot in here! And we know he only had a towel around his waist, so you know what that means *wink, wink*. *Whispers* there wasn't anything under there. I think you know what my favorite part of this episode was.
I can't believe Walter felt guilty. He did everything he could.

SHIRTLESS RYAN !!! I played that scene for about 5 times xD ..
that Ryan can survive in a tornado like that is one superman thing, but that he can change into his clothes THAT fast is another superman thingy. D: too bad *wink wink!*
Eva did a great job in this episode, I really liked it, but there wasn't any R/N scene, even though I liked the scenes between walter & ryan. I felt sorry for Walter through the entire episode, it must have been awful to see your friend/colleague fly away like that.
But thank g'd Ryan is ALIVE! Yeah!
Eric & the dog lmao, that shirtless ryan scene is still in my mind. I'm going to have a good night tonight xD
OWH! & that scene where natalia saw that 'body' lying on the ground, and when she pulled that thing off of him and he ran away. G'd I made a little jump xD , it scared nat as much as it scared me xD I was like: OMG THAT BODY IS ALIVEEE xD
Eric & jared. (I guess his name was jared, can't remember, but "jared" is hanging in my thoughts so i will just call him jared) I think that was kind of mixed emotions up there, I felt sorry for that jared person. Especially when you saw that tear rolling down his cheek. :( He is alive though.
It was weird seeing Calleigh doing a big scene again... really.. really weird.
anyways, I liked the episode, the opening was amazing & we had some good Ryan scenes, and Natalia had a lot of screen time ! So yeah for CSI:M ! Can't wait for the next one !
I just read the spoilers of 10.04 but I didn't see anything like Natalia this or Natalia that. No Natalia in the spoiler at all, even though she was in the promo. So now I'm really curious.. what will happen to Nat ?
We're off topic here too lol(: But I guess without much from the 10.04 trailer we're straying away. I'm more excited about the halloween episode even though I think vampires are completely overrated and overdone.
